The Big Question
How do investigators collect evidence and apply the scientific method to topics outside the mainstream such as paranormal activity?
Looks good. Where will you look for information on this? Also, to play Devil's Advocate: How will you overcome the fact that science doesn't accept "ghost hunting" as legitimate?
I remember how different your first question and I think that by having generalizing it more is going to benefit you, considering you will be able to view more cases and be provided with more examples.
I think this will be an interesting topic and there is a lot of information out there. I suggest that you choose the best information and not so much the point less one, I tend to do that a lot.
